My 5 year old (very fluffy) dog has been getting hairballs every few months. Does anyone know what I can do to prevent them? I already brush him every week to get rid of as much loose fur as I can. What else should I be doing???

Maybe he needs more stimulation — my pup licks herself when she's bored or anxious, but she has cut back every since I started giving her some rawhide chewies.

    I agree with Rebecca.

Extra fluffy dogs tend to have issues with hairballs. Giving him some more chew toys will probably help him out!

Thanks for the tips! I'll try some rawhide chewies and let you know how it goes :)

If you are a pet lover and you have a dog that is growing to all hair that means it has a very dangerous disease at all. Must check your pet to the doctor and then post at essayhave review so that all other pet owners know about this.

Dogs often suffer from hairballs, which can be uncomfortable for the dog and distressing for the pet owner too. Whilst hairballs are not usually life threatening, your pet insurance can help protect your pet against any unexpected health complications that hairballs might lead to. gfive mobiles price
