Manchester Terrier General Appearance:

The Manchester Terrier is a small, compact dog with a wedge-shaped head and an alert expression. This breed is distinct from the Toy Manchester Terrier due to their ear shape, which is naturally erect and pointed.

Standard Manchester Terriers weigh between 12 and 22 pounds, and they are slightly longer than they are tall. Their black and mahogany coats are smooth, dense, and glossy. Manchester Terriers tend to have a small tan spot over each eye and on each cheek. These dogs carry their tails curled upward, and their gait is effortless and balanced.

Manchester Terrier Temperament:

Manchester Terriers are keen, intelligent dogs that are eager to learn new tricks and skills. But because of their intelligence and moderate energy levels, they require regular walks and mental stimulation. They form strong bonds with their owners, and they’re friendly with other animals if socialized as pups. The Manchester Terrier is not an excessive barker, but they are a very discerning breed that can succeed as watchdogs.
