Flat-Coated Retriever General Appearance

The Flat-Coated Retriever (also known as the Flat-Coat Retriever) has a powerful, elegant appearance. This breed has a long muzzle, strong jaw, almond-shaped eyes, long neck, athletic body, and a straight, long tail. Their medium-thick coat feathers at the legs and tails; their coat color is either solid black or solid liver. Flat-Coated Retriever are a similar height (about 22 to 25 inches) to Labrador Retrievers. But because they weigh only 60 to 70 pounds, they look much leaner than Labradors.

The Flat Coat Retriever is an active dog and excellent family companion. They were bred as working dogs, so make sure to give them plenty of vigorous exercise!
