American Water Spaniel Temperament:

Also known as American Brown Spaniels, Water Spaniels are happy, energetic, and eager to please their owners. They love to be active, and they are excellent swimmers. American Water Spaniels are even-tempered, but they can be stubborn. They are aloof with strangers, but they love being the center of attention around their family. They make excellent watchdogs and will bark if they hear any strange noises.
