Have you ever flicked through a gossip rag at the dentist and pooh-poohed the latest celebrity to splurge on buying a rhinestone-studded superyacht? Well, hold onto your pants, because these pampered pets are living in the lap of luxury — literally!

From starlet spaniels to royal retrievers, here are some of the luckiest pets in the world!

Miley Cyrus And Her Zoo

Source

Miley Cyrus might just be the main contender for Hollywood’s most-obsessed animal lover. As documented on her instagram, the former Hannah Montana star is living in a zoo! And hey, if you have the cash — why not?

Cyrus is also a fierce adoption advocate, and she frequently rescues strays that she finds while out and about. It’s currently unknown exactly how many pampered pets Cyrus has, but among her collection — which ranges from Pitbulls to pigs — Cyrus has struggled (as many do) to deal with the death of some of her pets.

Cyrus has tattoos of Pablo the deceased puffer fish and Floyd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, who tragically died after an encounter with a coyote. Miley even released an album for her lost pets, not-so-subtly named Miley And Her Dead Petz. The album contains tribute songs for both Pablo and Floyd. Floyd was commemorated as a giant inflatable stage prop, which traveled with Miley on her Bangerz tour. I prefer a shadow box myself, but to each their own.

Britney Spears

Leaked court documents revealed that Britney Spears dropped $30,000 in 2013 ... on her dogs. According to TMZ, clothes, pet-sitting, and luxury dog food racked up the bills, although the heftiest price tag came from buying the dogs themselves! Over $5,000 was spent on a Maltese, and Spears later dropped another $8,212 on a Yorkie!

George Clooney And Max

"I've had different reactions over the years," Clooney once told the press regarding his 300-pound Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig. "But I always say, 'Love me, love my pig.'”

Max the pig was Clooney’s faithful companion for 18 years until his sad passing in 2006. Throughout his long life, Max enjoyed living inside a dramatic Tudor mansion in Laurel Canyon, where he had the privilege of sharing a bed with Clooney.

Lisa Vanderpump And Giggy

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump is rarely seen without her Pomeranian, Giggy. In addition to owning a wardrobe fit for a king, Giggy the Pom has his own line of accessories.

Lady Gaga And Miss Asia

Lady Gaga’s French Bulldog, Miss Asia Kinney, is more famous than your waiter in LA. Miss Asia has modelled for a Coach campaign, has over 200,000 Instagram followers, and recently celebrated her birthday in style. Talk about pampered pets!

Karl Lagerfeld And Choupette

Fashion Midas Karl Lagerfeld proved his golden touch extended to his pet cat, Choupette, who earns $4 million a year. Choupette models for Shu Uemura (amongst others) while jetting around on private planes. Choupette, naturally, is a Chanel muse. Allegedly, Choupette inspired both an entire season of Chanel clothing and a handbag. Oh yeah, she also has two maids who must record her activities and moods in a diary.

Oprah And Friends

Who wouldn’t want to be reincarnated as one of Oprah’s dogs? Naturally, the pooches lucky enough to list themselves amongst Oprah’s favorite things enjoy a lavish lifestyle. Oprah has five pampered pets, and each has their own luxury bed. They also get free reign of Oprah’s sprawling mansion in California, complete with vegetable gardens, swimming pools, tennis courts, and deluxe dog bath stations.

Paris Hilton And Tinkerbell

Paris Hilton’s Chihuahua takes the dog biscuit for being the most pampered pet, possibly ever. Hilton commissioned a miniature replica of her LA mansion just for her dogs. The doggy mansion cost as much as an actual home, coming in at $325,000. It’s tall enough to house a human. It features a staircase and a balcony, and the interiors were designed by Faye Resnick — that Faye Resnick, of O.J. Simpson trial fame. The dog mansion includes Philippe Starck furniture, heating, AC, and a chandelier.
