Nothing says summer like a day at the beach. Pack the sunscreen, snacks, treats, towels, extra tennis balls, and plenty of water, and get ready for a day with your best furry friend at the dog beach!

Majorly dog friendly cities like San Diego or Chicago have a few dog friendly beaches — but if you’re on a road trip or visiting a new city with your pup and want to hit up the dog beach, we’re here to help.

We’ve rounded up the top dog friendly beaches across the country so that you can have a fun-filled day with your pooch no matter where your travels bring you! And don’t worry — many dog friendly beaches offer doggy waste bags, garbage cans, and dog showers to get some of the sand off before getting back in the car!
